Rio de Janeiro

Finally we arrived in Rio de Janeiro the last destination of our 80 day trip. With this post I will also close this blog and thank all readers for their interest.

I am planning to create during the next months a picture book of my trip. If somebody knows a useful software for this process, would be great if he/she will tell me.
I am now again available under my Austrian number or per mail (b.kirchmeir@gmx.at).

Unfortunately the weather in Rio was the most time not so fine. 2 days it was raining and the rest of the time it was mostly cloudy.
After 80 day loaded with a huge sightseeing program, we have been also already a little bit tired; whatever I visited the most interested places, like sugar loaf, the Jesus monument or Copacabana Beach. The rest of the time (when it was not raining) we relaxed on Ipanema beach, which was only 3 blocks of our hostel far away, to complete our suntan.
Also I haven’t been able to make the typical Rio picture with Jesus, because he hid all the time,  during our stay in thick white cloud, but see below.
