... is a town in north western of Cambodia and the gateway to the temples around Angkor Wat. This Area was the seat of the Khmer empire which flourished from approximately the 9th to 15th centuries.
We started our temple rally early in the morning to see the sunrise to
over Angkor Wat. Afterward s we visited the temple Angkor Thom, Bayon,
Ta Keo, Ta Prohm (this is the one with the huge trees you can see below)
and some smaller ones. The whole day we was guided by a "Tuk-Tuk
driver", who brought us to the different stations.
